Samsung, the number one flash memory brand since 2003, is offering big discounts on its highly awarded 990 PRO SSD. For a limited time, you can save big on either the regular 990 PRO SSD or the model equipped with a heatsink. Here's all you need to know.

The 990 PRO, with or without a heatsink, is offered in three storage configurations, including 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB. They're all available for a lower price, as follows:

  • Save $30 on the 1TB 990 PRO.
  • Save $70 on the 2TB 990 PRO.
  • Save $165 on the 4TB 990 PRO.
  • Save $65 on the 1TB 990 PRO with Heatsink.
  • Save $76 on the 2TB 990 PRO with Heatsink.
  • Save $110 on the 4TB 990 PRO with Heatsink.

As to which 990 PRO variant you should buy — with or without a heatsink — it all depends on the use cases you're looking for. If you want a powerful PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD for your PC, you can buy the model without a heatsink.

The 990 PRO with Heatsink was made primarily for the PlayStation 5, as the console's storage expansion bay is very small and has poor airflow. Using the 990 PRO without the integrated heatsink for the PlayStation 5 is not recommended, as chances are that it will overheat inside the console's expansion bay.

This is a limited-time offer and won't last much longer. Hit the buy button below.
