The Galaxy A35 is one of Samsung's best value-for-money phones of 2024, and in the USA, it also happens to be the best A-series phone you can buy this year. Usually, it costs $399, but Samsung made it possible for long-time Galaxy A users to upgrade to the new phone and save $200.
Samsung's enhanced trade-in offers help you save $200 on the Galaxy A35 if you have an old Galaxy A phone you want to trade. The $200 discount applies to the following old Samsung devices:
- Galaxy A32
- Galaxy A42
- Galaxy A51
- Galaxy A52
- Galaxy A71
You can also save $150 on the Galaxy A35 and buy this new phone for $249 if you can exchange one of the following low-cost Samsung phones:
- Galaxy A20
- Galaxy A11
- galaxy A21
- Galaxy A53
- Galaxy A23
- Galaxy A13
- Galaxy A03
- Galaxy A0e
- Galaxy A12
- Galaxy A50
- Galaxy A13
These phones usually have a trade-in value of around $10, but thanks to these enhanced discounts, you can grab the 2024 model for a much lower price than usual.
The Galaxy A35 is equipped with the segment's best display, exceeding even Samsung's standards. The company says the A35's 6.6-inch Super AMOLED panel has 1,000 nits of brightness, but independent tests show it can achieve 1,620 nits of peak brightness, which is on par with the Galaxy S23 high-end phone.
Other specs include an Exynos 1380 chip — which is quite competent for its price range — a 50MP primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, a glass back with a modern design, an IP67 dust and water-resistance rating, and now, the phone even has Circle to Search.
