WrestleMania 40 brings over 145,000 fans to Philly

The highly anticipated WrestleMania 40 took over Philadelphia this past weekend and resulted in what one WWE official called "the biggest WrestleMania of all time," as 145,298 fans came out to Lincoln Financial Field across the two days. The event also set records for social media activation, merchandise sales and sponsorships. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque said, "This was, legitimately, on every metric, the biggest WrestleMania of all time." Last week, tickets to the Saturday and Sunday stadium shows at the Linc were trending as the two most in demand nights of WrestleMania in the last decade and among the most popular events being held at the stadium in 2024 (PHILADELPHIA BUSINESS JOURNAL, 4/8).
