Amazon Prime Day iPad deals 2024: don't miss these discounts

Apple recently slashed the recommended starting price of the iPad 10.9 to $349 earlier this month, but Amazon has now dropped it even further to a new record low. It's great value for money at this price if you need an all-around tablet. We said Apple's latest base-level tablet is a big upgrade over the previous generation model in our iPad 10.9 review, with a larger Liquid Retina display, a new A14 Bionic chip, improved cameras, USB-C support, and a sleek design.

This discount means you can get a 8.3-inch tablet that delivers a similar performance to the last-generation iPad Air but in a much smaller form. There are also significant upgrades to the processing chip and cameras, as well as all-day battery life that make it a solid option for those that need a portable everyday tablet.

Apple iPad Air 5 (2022): was $599.99 now $399.99 at Best Buy
A $200 discount makes an already very affordable iPad tablet even more budget-friendly. For under $500, you'll get an amazing 10.9-inch liquid retina display, guaranteeing all your favorite shows and apps will look great. 64 GB of storage is not to be sniffed at but for $150 more, you can always upgrade to 256GB. Even though the M1 chip is a few years old, it still has an impressive amount of power - perfect for those who want a powerful portable device.

Apple's larger iPad Pro M2 is also on sale for a big discount at Best Buy. Don't be fooled by the older processor, the Apple M2 chip is still blazing fast, and it should have no problem running Apple's upcoming Apple Intelligence software, if that's your fancy. If you want a pro-level iPad for much less than the latest model, this is a great deal on a huge Apple tablet. 

iPad Pro 11-inch (2024): was $999 now $929.99 at Amazon
In our hands-on iPad Pro (2024) review, we described Apple's latest flagship tablet as "the impossibly thin king of iPads – and maybe all tablets." Naturally, that level of quality comes at a premium, but Amazon has seen fit to discount the 256GB, Wi-Fi-only variant of the 11-inch iPad Pro (2024) to a slightly more digestible price ahead of its May 15 release. Every little helps, as they say.

If you want the biggest and best iPad, then Amazon has the 13-inch iPad Pro 2024 on sale. It's a mighty tablet and one that's all the more attractive with $100 cut off the price. If it's sold out at Amazon, then Best Buy has pretty much the same iPad Pro 13-inch deal.

In the UK, you can now get the entry-level iPad for £319, saving a solid £30. That money can then be redirected into some great apps or an Apple Arcade subscription.

It's an older model, but the 2021 10.2-inch iPad is still a great tablet.

Apple iPad mini (2021): was £499.99 now £479.99 at Amazon
