Looking to score a great price on one of the best foldable phones money can buy? We've laid out this week's best Google Pixel Fold deals just down below to help our readers save as much cash as possible on this admittedly pricey device.

The Google Pixel Fold debuted at $1,799 / £1,749  for the 12GB RAM / 256GB storage option, which was significantly more expensive than any other Pixel device previously released. It does, however, feature a powerful Tensor G2 chipset, excellent cameras, and a gorgeous 7.6-inch inner display that still holds up in 2024 despite its age. If you're interested in a full run-down of the device, head on over to our Google Pixel Fold review for a detailed expert opinion.

The device isn't the latest in the range anymore (check out our Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold deals page for the newest entry) but it's still available at a few retailers. Generally speaking, it looks like this excellent foldable is on its way out now but there could still be a good deal or two knocking about for a few months at least. Amazon in particular still stocks the device so keep an eye out for a discount.

Finally, if you're interested in comparing these promotions to the latest competition, head on over to our new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 deals page. Alternatively, cast the net out wider with our main cell phone deals page, which includes devices from Apple, Samsung, Google, and many other leading brands.

Should I buy the Pixel Fold or the Galaxy Z Fold 5?

Tough question - both are fantastic devices and debut at the same price ($1,799 / £1,7949). They both feature excellent internal components, a refined foldable design, and excellent camera systems - anyone would be happy with either device.

Design-wise, the Pixel Fold features a wider screen layout, with the device roughly being the same aspect ratio as a normal device when folded. In comparison, the Fold 5 features much thinner displays that are still taller than wider when completely unfolded. Essentially, the Pixel Fold becomes more like a wide-screen tablet when unfolded while the Fold 5 is more 'phone-like'.

In terms of components, we'd give the Fold 5 the edge in terms of outright performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The Pixel Fold's Tensor G2 is optimized around AI integration, which lends to fantastic computational features like Photo Unblur or Magic Eraser.

Lastly, while both the Pixel Fold and Fold 5 feature extended app support for wide-screen usage, only the latter currently features stylus support. If you're a productivity-focused user, then the Fold 5's fantastic S-Pen support could be a reason to go with the Samsung device.
