Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 specs are but small upgrades over the Fold 5. There's a new chip that'll promise more performance across the board, a slightly bigger battery, and new color options.

However, there's a change in the Fold's design with it being a little shorter and wider, as well as lighter, helping deliver a cover screen that's a 0.1-inches bigger; that doesn't sound like a lot but should make for a display that's a little more useable when the Fold 6 is folded. And a more usable overall phone could see the Fold 6 grab the top spot on the best foldable phones list.

There's also a stealthy upgrade that comes in the form the ultra-wide camera having improved low-light photography and HDR shooting. Added to that, night mode on the cameras has been boosted due to a dedicated image signaling processing block.

Other non-obvious upgrades are 10% stronger Armor Aluminum in the chassis and a stronger hinge system. There's also a 1.6x larger vapour cooling for faster and broader heat dissipation.

Added on top of all that is on the software side, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes with a lot of Galaxy AI features, as well as custom smart features designed to work well with the foldable display. So this and the hardware upgrades could all add up to make the Fold 6 a bigger upgrade than previously thought.
