About Telegraph Vouchers

Welcome to Telegraph Vouchers, the first fully digital platform providing competitive offers and money-off vouchers for Telegraph readers. This platform is hosted and actively managed by Savings United, a specialist media technology company with more than 10 years’ experience in sourcing and validating voucher codes.

Telegraph Vouchers launched in 2018 as a natural extension of our consumer advice editorial section, Telegraph Recommended, to help our readers secure competitive prices on the right products.

How to use this service

There are over 500 brands and merchants featured on Telegraph Vouchers, all of which have been selected on the basis of their potential to be valuable to our readership, and their alignment with our strict internal guidance on working with advertisers at the Telegraph.

If you’re considering shopping with one of our merchants, and you want to check whether a particular brand might have a discount code, you can use the search function in the menu bar to navigate to their page.

  • Where you see “Get Code”, this means there is a code that you can copy and paste into the merchant checkout page to receive a discount on certain purchases. To save you navigating between tabs, you can simply click the ‘Copy’ button located next to the code, which adds the discount code to your clipboard, ready for you to paste at the checkout stage on the merchant’s site.
  • Where you see “Get Deal”, this indicates that you may need to take further action to access the voucher, for example signing up to a newsletter. Alternatively, it may mean that this deal doesn’t require a voucher code to be entered.

Please bear in mind that most deals and codes come with limitations, such as certain product lines or expiry dates. We advise you to check the terms and conditions of each code before attempting to use it to avoid disappointment.

The Telegraph and Savings United

Savings United is the provider we use to bring you Telegraph Vouchers. Savings United supports us in three ways:

  1. Savings United provides website technology (known as a ‘content management system’ or CMS) that allows us to upload and display the thousands of deals and codes in a way that is clear and easy to use.
  2. Savings United provides us with a Retailer Management team who oversee the relationships with the 500+ brands we feature on the platform, ensuring we always have relevant deals and code displayed in a timely manner and negotiating Telegraph-exclusive codes for our readers.
  3. Savings United provides us with a Content and Quality team who manually check that every code is accurate before it is published and regularly re-validate codes from our most popular brands.

The Telegraph relies on Savings United to provide these services to ensure our readers’ experience on this section of our site meets their high expectations of any Telegraph service. The relationship is overseen day to day by our in-house eCommerce team, who oversee all site changes, merchant approvals, newsletters, print activity, marketing and code validity targets. You can contact the Telegraph eCommerce team directly at vouchers@telegraph.co.uk.

Quality and verification

We know how frustrating it is when a code doesn't work and great care is taken to ensure that the codes you find on Telegraph Vouchers meet your needs and expectations.

Telegraph Vouchers only uses verified sources for the codes and deals

There are only three ways in which vouchers codes or discounts are sourced on Telegraph Vouchers:

  1. Codes and discounts are negotiated directly with advertisers or their agencies, often to secure exclusive codes for Telegraph readers;
  2. Advertisers (or one of their marketing agencies) send newsletter communications to inform their affiliates of upcoming codes and discounts that might be relevant to their audiences;
  3. Codes that Telegraph readers might be interested in are sourced directly from an advertiser’s website, with written permission from the advertiser to publish those codes on Telegraph Vouchers.

All codes are sourced from official and verified sources, with confirmation from every advertiser that each code is valid and permissible to publish.

All of our codes are verified by humans

  1. Every code on Telegraph Vouchers is uploaded by a human, who will verify that the code is currently working on the retailer’s website before publishing it.
  2. Every code on the pages of our 60 most popular brands is checked by a human four times each week to ensure that it still works as expected and that the expiration dates are accurate.
  3. Every code that is promoted within our newsletter, homepage or print newspapers is checked by a human twice per working day (Monday-Friday) for the duration of that promotion.

Sometimes brands change codes at the last minute or bring an expiry date forward before it can be updated or removed from the site. If you find something inaccurate or out of date, then please let us know. You can reach us through our contact us form.

If there is a retailer or brand that isn’t featured on this platform that you would like to see, you can submit it through the contact us form to be reviewed.

Be the first to know

Codes and discounts featured on Telegraph Vouchers may be live for weeks, days or sometimes a matter of hours. Every effort is made to bring you the best offers as soon as they become available, including best-in-market or Telegraph-exclusive discounts. These codes are only available via Telegraph Vouchers and can’t be found elsewhere. If you want to make sure you’re the first to hear about the best offers or the exclusive codes that have been sourced specifically for our readers, you can sign up to our bi-weekly Telegraph Vouchers newsletter email bulletins here.

How does this fund our journalism?

Most of the links on Telegraph Vouchers are affiliate links. This means that if you end up buying something from a retailer directly after clicking on one of our links, we will usually earn a commission.

These are similar to the affiliate links you can find within our product reviews - published under our Telegraph Recommended editorial section. Product testing and consumer guidance is important to our readers, with a deluge of poor quality advice available elsewhere on the internet. We invest heavily in hands-on testing and consulting with professional experts to bring our readers consumer advice that has the level of research, expertise and care that anyone should expect from the UK's leading quality newspaper. The commissions we earn through our voucher code and product review referrals allow us to keep investing in this content, so we can continue giving you guidance on which products are genuinely worth your money, and where you can buy them for the best possible price. It also helps to support our wider news journalism.

For sales that take place after clicking on a link within Telegraph Vouchers, a percentage of the commission is paid to Savings United. This funds the technology and the resources we need to power Telegraph Vouchers and bring you manually tested codes and deals from over 500 brands.
