Shortly moving to Greenwich, London, the Trinity College of Music was founded in 1872 as a school for the study and practice of music for the church, and for the last hundred years it has been a pioneer in youth music teaching. In recent years it has been the first music college to develop jazz studies and electronics and has installed a computerised aural and keyboard laboratory. It has faculties of strings, keyboard, composition, vocal, conducting, wind, brass and percussion, jazz and music education.
