Current systems do not work well, but what is the least bad option?

Back in the day, I played Frontier: Elite II on my Atari ST. As far as I can tell, Frontier isn't available for PCs, aside from a DOS version which I can't get to work even with an emulator. Do you know of any comparable games that might satisfy my nostalgia? Chris Morris

I've had a couple of letters from people who say the new-style Guardian Unlimited Web site layout crashes their browser, and I'd be interested to hear (1) if you have had the same problem and (b) if you've found a fix for it. Also (iii) I've just noticed my numbering is inconsisent.

I have three Sony MiniDVD camcorders which I use to film my work with clients. More than the odd disc is not allowing me to finalise it at the end of the session, and of course it doesn't give any indication of impending doom when I first put it in. I don't believe the problem is with the cameras as the finalising issue seems to occur even with the newest camera, with less than two hours use on it. Anthony Etherton

I am looking to buy a new flat screen monitor and with a screen size of ideally 20 inches. I primarily use my PC for work (data analysis and report writing) however I also watch movies off it. Inaddition, I would like a monitor that has an input for a games machine such as an Xbox 360 or PS3. Any suggestions? Jack Gowan
