No refuge

In a series of articles the Guardian is examining the impact of the Trump administration's policy towards refugees; something that strikes to the core of America's self-perception as being historically a land of sanctuary. The first piece in the series looks at the recent retreat by the US from its role in offering shelter to the world's refugees. The second reports on the impact of that policy on one of the world's worst humanitarian crises: the war in Yemen. The third explores the triumphs and tribulations of a refugee community in small town Wisconsin. Finally, we hear from a refugee from the Nazis and what they think of current policy developments.
