Nectar Black Friday mattress deals: What to expect
During last year's Black Friday, Nectar deviated from its typical 33% off sale to offer up to 40% off all mattresses during a flash sale. That limited-time special is now the evergreen Nectar mattress we've seen throughout all of this year, although digging through the Nectar sale page reveals banners touting as much as 67% off.
Honestly, the most important thing to look at here is the final sale price. In the US, Nectar mattresses are never sold at full price, which the brand calls a 'Total Value' based on the sale prices of at least three comparable products from other companies. Yeah — it's confusing.
Notably, Nectar has revamped its mattress lineup, but prices are roughly the same as before. A queen Nectar Classic memory foam mattress sells for $649 on sale, which is $20 less than the typical sale price for the now-discontinued Nectar Original.
So what can we expect from Nectar for Black Friday 2024? Probably more of the same, as Nectar has just run its usual evergreen in recent years. We've seen a smattering of 50% off flash sales throughout the year so far, but even if that were to make a return, that limited-time offer would likely arrive before or after Black Friday itself.

The US Nectar Black Friday sale four years ago appeared on 4 November, and knocked 33% off everything. There was no free bedding included, although shoppers could pick up a bundle of two pillows, a mattress protector and some sheets for the bargain price of $99.
Originally it was billed as a four-day sale, but Nectar extended it right through November, into Cyber Monday. Last year, this became Nectar's evergreen sale, although the discounted bedding bundle has seen a slight increase to $159 (from $129).
This Black Friday deal marked a change in the Nectar evergreen offer, which typically previously consisted of a smaller saving and a free bedding bundle. Since then, Nectar has stuck to a larger offer with an optional discounted bedding bundle. This has seen over $100 knocked off the previously expected sale price of the memory foam queen. Good news if you want the biggest discount, but less impressive if you were hoping to overhaul your sleep setup.
The Nectar Black Friday sale last year saw a 40% off flash sale that ended up running across Black Friday, through to Cyber Monday, and then became the evergreen deal. Not exactly a flash sale, but still a major saving. This has now become the standard sale price from Nectar. We have, however, seen the occasional 50% off flash sale. Is Black Friday the best time to buy a Nectar mattress?
Most of the leading mattress brands offer best-in-class discounts throughout the year, with particularly good offers over Memorial Day, in the July 4th sales, in the summer sales, and the Labor Day sales – as well as on Black Friday and after Christmas. This is also a time when we see huge discounts on the best mattress toppers for better in-bed comfort.
Nectar, by contrast, hasn't always delivered especially notable offers on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, although its 2022 deal did buck the trend a bit. In general, this brand tends to be consistent with its pricing, so if you need to buy a Nectar mattress now, you can do so knowing you probably won't up paying over the odds.
Nectar UK Black Friday sales and deals
For the last couple of years, Nectar UK hasn't made a splash during Black Friday sales. In 2023, Nectar UK simply ran its evergreen offer but added some free bedding to look like it made an effort. The year before that, there was officially 50% off, but RRPs shifted so the actual pricing was the same as the usual 45% off deal. Nectar did throw in a free set of sheets, worth £85, over Black Friday and Cyber Monday itself, though.
In the UK three years ago we saw 45% off both the foam and hybrid Nectar mattresses, which is a strong discount, but again one we see almost constantly from the brand. A fluctuating RRP means the actual pricing was cheaper than 45% off would be today – a double size Nectar Memory Foam UK cost just £411.95 (was £799), and the Nectar Hybrid starting from £466.95 for a single size.
Which Nectar mattress should you buy?
There are six Nectar mattresses to choose from in the US and five in the UK. In the US, the Nectar mattress range comprises the Nectar Classic Mattress (the cheapest model), followed by the Nectar Premier and the Nectar Luxe (the most expensive). Each range is available as a cheaper all-foam model and a pricier hybrid version. The mattresses get taller the higher up the range you go, with the Luxe being the tallest at 14". It's also the coolest, thanks to heat-conductive fibers woven into the fabric covering the mattress.
In the UK, the range was expanded a few years ago, and we haven't seen any major changes recently. At the cheapest end of the current lineup a budget-friendly Essential Hybrid model (read our Nectar Essential mattress review), in the middle of the range you'll find the original Nectar Memory Foam, also available as a Nectar Hybrid, and at the pricier end of thing are the Nectar Premier and Premier Hybrid.
All Nectar mattresses are designed to support multiple sleeping positions, with a focus on cooling comfort and pressure relief. Each comes on a 365-night trial, so you'll have a year to try your Nectar mattress at home and if you change your mind during that trial, Nectar will refund your money and collect the mattress. Nectar Classic Memory Foam mattress
Nectar's flagship product, the five-layer Nectar Memory Foam, is one of our favorite memory foam beds and simply one of the best mattresses out there. Usually sold at a good $200 cheaper than its mid-range rivals, the Nectar Memory Foam sits comfortably at the more affordable end of the mattress market and offers outstanding value for money.
It's available in seven different sizes in the US, with official prices starting from $699 for a twin size and rising to $1,399 for a Cal king (this Cal king price has jumped up by $250 since we first started tracking the Nectar mattress sales). There's also a split king version that's often on sale for $1,098.
The Nectar Memory Foam Mattress is made of five different layers, starting with a super-soft quilted memory foam mattress cover on top. That's followed by a gel memory foam layer that distributes body weight and heat to keep you cool. Next, an adaptive hi-core memory foam adds extra support, helping to banish the sinking feeling that can come with some foam-based mattresses.
Under this, a base layer helps stabilize the materials above and offers another layer of support, while the bottom mattress cover prevents slippage on your bed frame (it works with any bed type) or floor. Designed to suit a range of sleep styles, the medium-firm support and contoured cushioning is best for back and side sleepers.

Nectar Premier Memory Foam Mattress
The Nectar Premier sits in the middle of the three-strong Nectar all-foam mattress range and offers more cooling than the original Nectar, but not as much as the Premier Copper (below). We have seen the Premier pop up consistently among the best Nectar mattress sales each month, but the savings sometimes come in the form of free gifts rather than money off.
The best deal on the Nectar Premier mattress that we have seen these past few months has been roughly 37% off MSRP. This has taken the queen size down to $949, which is excellent value for money. Flash sales can sometimes turn up bigger discounts, but it rarely sells for much less than $949.
Instead of money off, Nectar has sometimes offered free gifts with the Premier mattress. This has included a Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen designed with sleep-sensing tech, plus a variety of premium bedding and accessories including bed sheets, a mattress protector, and some of the brand’s best pillows for sleeping. These free gift sales are less common from Nectar now, but they can still pop up.
As for the Premier itself, like its siblings this Nectar mattress is designed for all sleeping positions, and has a wealth of cooling materials to regulate temperature for deeper sleep. These include a quilted cool cover, plus a layer of memory foam infused with phase-change material. Nectar Luxe Memory Foam Mattress
If you want the best Nectar foam mattress for cooling, here it is. The Luxe is the tallest model in the brand’s range and has an extra layer to boost cooling, comfort and support. The biggest attraction is the heat-conductive fibers woven into the cover. These, plus other sleep fabric tech, work hard to dissipate heat and keep you cool during sleep.
Like the Premier above, the Luxe has featured in all Nectar mattress sales that we have tracked this year. And like the Premier, the discount tends to be around 30 to 40% off. While the queen has an MSRP of $1,949, we expect to see it sold for closer to $1,249. This is a low price compared to premium cooling mattresses, makes the Nectar Luxe a great choice for anyone who wakes up multiple times a night because they feel too warm one minute, then too cold the next.
The Luxe is recently launched and has replaced the Premier Copper Mattress in the Nectar Sleep range. Despite the new name and slightly altered build, we expect the Luxe to provide the same cooling pressure relief (and be subject to the same evergreen sale).
The Premier Copper stands 14 inches tall and is covered with a breathable cooling cover, woven with moisture-wicking materials to keep you fresh throughout the night. Beneath that sits a layer of therapeutic memory foam, to provide the soothing pressure relief. Next is a layer of transition foam, then an ActiveSupport Stability Base Layer, to keep you secure in the night.

Nectar Classic Hybrid mattress
The Nectar Classic Hybrid takes the incredibly popular design of the Nectar Memory Foam mattress and adds a layer of innerspring coils. It's the most affordable hybrid in the Nectar range (and an affordable hybrid bed overall), and a good choice for anyone interested in the Nectar Memory Foam but looking for a more responsive feel.
Like the comparable Memory Foam mattress, the Nectar Hybrid is frequently on sale. Typically, the Nectar Hybrid is discounted by around 33%, taking a queen size down to $799. This is a competitive price for a hybrid mattress, especially one from such a well-known brand.
As for the design, the Nectar Classic Hybrid features a 2" layer of therapeutic gel memory foam, to provide cushioning, followed by a 1" foam transition layer, before a layer of 8" tall innersprings. Each spring has been individually wrapped for adaptive contouring and limited motion transfer, while thicker coils are used around the sides to improve edge support. Finally, a 1" layer of stability foam is used at the base, to secure the layers above.
Due to the use of coils, the Nectar Classic Hybrid has better air flow than the memory foam equivalent, resulting in better temperature regulation. Hot sleepers on a budget should consider this Nectar mattress deal.
Nectar Premier Hybrid mattress
The Nectar Premier Hybrid mattress has the plush contouring you might expect from a memory foam bed, balanced with the impressive support of innersprings. It's a particularly good hybrid choice for side sleepers, thanks to that sumptuous Euro Top providing pressure relief at the shoulders and hips.
There are frequent Nectar mattress sales on the Premier Hybrid. In fact, we would never expect to pay the full MSRP. Nectar typically deducts around 39%, knocking a queen down to $1,099. However, Nectar will sometimes reduce the discount and throw in a bedding bundle for free instead.
At the top of the Premier Hybrid mattress you'll find three layers of foam: 1" of therapeutic memory foam, 2" of ActiveLift foam, and a 1" layer of dynamic transition foam. Then there's the 8" layer of innersprings, each coil individually wrapped to prevent motion on one side of the bed disturbing a sleeper on the other. Finally, a 1" support foam layer adds stability.
These plush upper layers provide the Nectar Premier Hybrid with a cushioned feel that's good for side sleepers and back sleepers who prefer a softer touch. However, that tall inner layer of springs provides ample support, for correct spinal alignment that limits aches and pains in the morning.

Nectar Luxe Hybrid mattress
The Luxe Hybrid is the ultimate cooling bed from Nectar, a recently launched revamp of the Premier Copper Hybrid Mattress. Featuring the moisture-wicking fibers of the Luxe Memory Foam (above) plus the natural breathability of a hybrid design, this is the top choice for those who suffer from night sweats.
Similar to its all-foam equivalent, the Luxe Hybrid is frequently featured in Nectar mattress sales. And you can expect a similar discount to the foam version, with the Luxe Hybrid typically reduced by around 38%, with the queen often sold at $1,399.
This is the most expensive mattress in the Nectar range, but it is competitively priced for a cooling hybrid bed. You'll also get the 365-night trial and a forever warranty that we expect to see with all Nectar mattresses.
Standing 14" tall, the Nectar Luxe Hybrid is a thick mattress. Below the breathable cover sits a layer of pressure relieving memory foam, then a layer of dynamic response foam, before a layer of transition foam. These thick foam comfort layers give the Luxe Hybrid the softer feel that appeals to side sleepers and some back sleepers.
Underneath these cushioned foam layers is the spring layer. 8" tall, these springs aid the flow of air round the bed, helping heat disperse and improving the cooling experience of the mattress. At the base is one final layer of foam, this time to provide stability.

Nectar Memory Foam mattress UK
The Nectar mattress UK is an affordable all-foam model that offers a supportive feel that will suit most sleep positions. While it isn't the cheapest memory foam mattress on the market, the price is impressive considering the quality and brand recognition, making it a good choice for sleepers who want a reliable mattress on a smaller budget.
It's very rare to see the Nectar mattress UK sold without a discount, but the exact saving varies. The RRP also has a habit of jumping around, so pay attention to the price, not the saving – we've spotted the Nectar Memory Foam with 60% off and 20% in recent months, but the end price has been nearly identical.
However, sometimes Nectar does offer a free gift, rather than a straight saving. This free gift is generally a bedding bundle, featuring sheets, a duvet, and a mattress protector. Alternatively, you can often ditch this deal and try haggling with the Nectar AI chatbot to get some money off the mattress by itself.
The Nectar Memory Foam features three internal foam layers: an upper dynamic support layer, a middle layer of pressure relieving memory foam, and a base layer with zoned support. The design is relatively simple, but it's effective. While slightly firmer than you might expect from an all-foam mattress, this is a good choice for stomach and back sleepers.

Nectar Premier mattress UK
Stepping up the cushioning and support from the basic memory foam mattress, the Nectar Premier uses honeycomb micro-zoned technology to create highly adaptive pressure relief. It moves with you, to ensure the bed is constantly cradling your body.
As expected, these upgrades also come with an increased price tag. Nectar mattress sales typically include the Nectar Premier, but the exact deal varies frequently. While you might get simple money off your purchase, sometimes Nectar switches this for a bundle deal. If the bedding bundle doesn't appeal to you, Nectar might be running it's AI chatbot deal – haggle with bot, and you should get just the mattress for a cheaper price.
The Nectar Premier has a similar build to the Nectar Memory Foam, with the addition of two extra foam layer. As well as the upper support layer, you can enjoy the cushioned comfort of pressure relieving memory foam, followed by a honeycomb transition layer, then a honeycomb micro-zoned support base, and a final stability layer.
If you like the sound of the Nectar Memory Foam but you're looking for a little more support, the Nectar Premier is an excellent choice. It offers full-body pressure relief, while those honeycomb layers move with you to ensure you never lose that cradling and supportive feel.

Nectar is a great choice if you're looking for a good-quality mattress at an affordable price. For sheer value for money, we think the original Nectar Memory Foam is the best mattress you can buy – with or without a sale to lower the price. Nectar mattress flash sales: When do they happen?
As well as regular percentage discounts and freebie bundles, Nectar Flash Sales crop up occasionally. Three years ago, a Flash Sale ran from Saturday 6 to Monday 8 November, during which Nectar Sleep US applied a 25% discount to everything on site, including the brand's best comforters for snuggly sleep. This flash sale dropped mattress prices to the lowest price we saw that year. To be exact:

- Twin XL - $669 (was $502)
- Full - $599 (was $799)
- Queen - $674 (was $899)
- King - $899 (was $1,199)

The year before that, the Nectar Flash Sale appeared on November 1, and again the brand offered a 25% discount site-wide. This dropped the price of the Memory Foam mattress to just $374 for a twin and $599 for a queen.
In 2022, Nectar did run a few flash sales, but the offer matched what we saw in the extended Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
Last year Nectar run 40% off flash sales during weekends in March, May, August, and September – dropping prices to the lowest we've seen from the brand all year.
