Purple's mattresses rank among the best hybrid mattresses due to their unique GelFlex Grid technology and indulgent quilted pillow tops. The Rejuvenate range is among the highest of the high-end, with price points that are likely to make the eyes water. But if you're looking to splash the cash on the best mattress possible you can save up to $600 on the brand's top-tier Purple RejuvenatePremier mattress, which is now $6,895 for a queen (was $7,495).

2. Purple Rejuvenate Mattress: was from $4,495 now from $3,995 at Purple

2. Purple Rejuvenate Mattress: twin was from $4,495 now from $3,995 at Purple
The Rejuvenate is the most expensive collection from Purple and these high-end mattresses are for those willing to invest in some serious nighttime luxury. In our Purple Rejuvenate mattress review, we said the lofty 15-inch tall mattress delivered instant comfort and ergonomic support which we feel would suit people of average to heavier body weights. We also found that it offers superb pressure relief around the back, shoulders, and hips. Even in the sale, this is a premium mattress, with a queen now $4,995 (was $5,495) – but this is one of the best prices we've seen. Like all Purple mattresses, the Rejuvenate comes with a 10-year warranty and a 100-night trial, which is a bit of a disappointment at this price point (Saatva mattresses come with a 365-night trial and lifetime warranty). However, Purple does offer free white glove delivery with all Rejuvenate mattresses, which is a plus.

It features a quilted comfort cover with an antimicrobial finish, above an active response comfort foam layer. Under this, you've got the famous Purple GelFlex Grid and edge support foam. Of course, you've also got those 3-zone response coils, for the perfect amount of bounce. It's great for heavier bodies, offering a supremely supportive surface with tremendous edge support. Right now, you can save $500 on this mattress, bringing a queen down to $5,995 (was $6,495). You'll get a 100-night trial, 10-year warranty and free white glove delivery.

4. Purple RejuvenatePremier mattress: twin was $6,495 now $5,895 at Purple
For the ultimate comfort, the indulgent Purple RejuvenatePremier is the mattress for you. It boasts eight incredible layers of high-quality materials, including dual GelFlex Grid Plus layers for maximum support, 5-zone coils for full-body pressure relief and a quilted Euro Top. Its active response comfort foam isolates motion, while the Talalay latex lends an airy, weightless feeling. It's a very pricey mattress, among the most expensive we've seen, but if you're looking to splash some serious cash, the Purple RejuvenatePremier is among the best mattresses you can find.

Which Purple mattress should you buy?

Purple has three mattress line-ups: the Essential collection (starting from $699), the Restore collection (starting from $1,999) and the Rejuvenate collection (starting from $4,495). The Essentials collection consists of memory foam mattresses, while the Restore and Rejuvenate collection are both hybrid mattresses.

The Essentials and Restore collection rate among the best mattresses in a box. The thicker, plusher Rejuvenate models are delivered flat and come with bonus free white glove delivery. All three collections feature Purple's patented Purple Grid mattress tech - an innovative hyper-elastic polymer that behaves more like a gel.

The Purple grid is designed to flex under your pressure points and adapt to support your body where it needs it the most. This grid layer is comprised of more than 2,800 open-air channels, so body heat dissipates and you don't feel too hot or too cold while you sleep.

The PurpleFlex Mattress is the cheapest mattress by Purple, yet it still comes with Purple's patented Purple Grid mattress tech. Under this grid sits a base support foam. The Purple Original and Purple Plus mattress have a similar build, but each design increases the level of support and comfort (and foam).

The Purple Restore Mattress is a hybrid collection featuring foams, coils, and the GelFlex Grid. The coils add even more support and response to these mattresses, making it easy for sleepers to change position and adjust.

The Purple Rejuvenate is the company's premier mattress line with a quilted Euro top and enhanced comfort layers. They also contain the upgraded GelFlex Grid Plus (and the luxurious Purple RejuvenatePremier Mattress contains two layers of grid technology).

As a side note, Purple also holds a spot on our best dog bed guide. The Purple Pet Bed is a high-tech mattress for your furry friends. It's hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and vegan. It's backed by a 100-day free trial.

1. Purple Mattress

The top Purple mattress for most people

Height: 9.5 inches | Sizes: Twin to split king | Trial: 100-night guarantee | Warranty: 10-year limited warranty | MSRP: $999 to $2,198

Cushioned and supportive
Excellent pressure relief
Great air flow/cooling
Edge support could be better
Somewhat shallow

The Purple Mattress uses the Purple Grid to eliminate pressure points and allow airflow so you can sleep cool and comfortable. The Purple Grid is engineered to flex directly under your pressure points while supporting the rest of your body. In other words, it'll cradle your shoulders and hips while fully supporting your back. This means your back will be naturally aligned while you sleep.

Beneath the two-inch Purple Grid, you'll find Purple's dual layered comfort foam. The bottom layer is firm and offers excellent support, whereas the upper layer is soft and responsive. At the very top of the mattress is Purple's SoftFlex cover. The breathable design promotes airflow so you can sleep cool and comfortable.

2. Purple Plus Mattress

Enhanced comfort and durability

Depth: 11 inches | Sizes: Twin XL to split king | Trial: 100-night guarantee | Warranty: 10-year limited warranty | RRP: $1,399 to $2,798

Superior cooling
Soft and firm
Customized comfort
Middling edge support

The Purple Plus is a luxurious mattress and a step up from the Purple Original. It features two extra inches of foam than its predecessor. Overall, it's rated a medium firmness, but Purple also promises an 'adaptive' feel — soft where you want a mattress to feel soft, and firmer where you need extra support.

The Purple Plus is also great at relieving pressure points, and all sleep positions were well-suited on this mattress. It feels soft and cradled under your head, neck, arms, and legs, but is firmer under the shoulders, hips and lumbar spine. In our testing, we rated it one of the best mattresses for back pain.
