From 3 to 6 June 2024, a restoration training for museum employees from Tajikistan took place in the framework of the "Silk Roads Heritage Corridors in Central Asia – International Dimension of the European Year of Cultural Heritage" Project. This project is funded by the European Union and has been implemented by the UNESCO Regional Office in Almaty since 2018. In total, about 35 cultural workers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan were trained during the current year.

Twelve specialists from the restoration and conservation departments of museums in Tajikistan were selected by the National Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan for UNESCO to participate in the training.

At the end of the training, we asked one of the participants to share her impressions of the experience.
