The South Asia Regional Office in New Delhi is mandated to cover six countries of South Asia -- Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka. UNESCO's programmes in Bangladesh and Nepal are implemented by UNESCO Offices in Dhaka and Kathmandu.
