Flexibility and Reliability in Pathology Reporting with VoiceOver PRO

Flexibility and Reliability in Pathology Reporting with VoiceOver PRO

In the ever-evolving world of anatomic pathology, flexibility and reliability are paramount. At Voicebrook, we understand the diverse needs of our users, and we responded by designing VoiceOver PRO—a revolutionary reporting solution that leverages the power of customized templates and the efficiency of speech recognition.

VoiceOver PRO is tailored to meet the unique requirements of anatomic pathology, offering multiple input modalities to ensure every user can find their perfect fit.

FLEXIBLE WORKFLOWS

One of the core principles behind VoiceOver PRO is flexibility. We recognize that different users have different needs and preferences when it comes to dictation and reporting. To accommodate this, we've developed three distinct input modalities:

Front-End Speech: This is the backbone of VoiceOver PRO. Users dictate, and their words appear on the screen in real-time. This modality offers significant cost savings, improved safety, and faster turnaround times for patients. It's perfect for those who want immediate control over their reports, allowing them to proofread and edit as they go.

Delegated Workflow Module (DWM): Understanding that some users prefer an additional layer of quality control, Voicebrook developed DWM. This hybrid solution combines the immediacy of Front-End Speech with the assurance of transcriptionist review. Users can utilize front-end speech and choose to send an audio file to transcription when they are done for additional proofreading and adjustments. This ensures consistency and quality, making it ideal for training residents or for users who want their reports double-checked. Additionally, DWM offers a quality control aspect. All audio files can be captured and saved, so a site can have the audio reviewed at anytime without holding up finalizing the case. This dual approach caters to different needs for accuracy and oversight.

Full Digital Recording: For users who prefer traditional transcription workflows, VoiceOver PRO offers a full digital recording option. This modality allows users to record their voice and send the audio files to transcriptionists, who then fully transcribe the reports. It's a familiar and reliable solution for those who are not ready to transition to speech technology.

Meeting User Needs

The development of these input modalities was driven by Voicebrook's commitment to listen to our clients and address their specific needs. The Front-End Speech modality was designed to provide maximum efficiency and control for users comfortable with real-time dictation. However, we understood that some users and sites needed the added assurance of a transcriptionist's review, leading to the creation of the DWM. Additionally, Voicebrook recognized that not all users are ready or willing to adopt speech technology, which is why we continue to offer a digital recording option.

VoiceOver PRO represents Voicebrook's dedication to providing flexible, reliable solutions that cater to the diverse needs of anatomic pathology professionals. We consistently strive to create solutions that provide every user a workflow that suits their preferences and enhances their productivity. Whether you prefer the immediacy of Front-End Speech, the quality control of Delegated Workflow, or the familiarity of Full Digital Recording, VoiceOver PRO is here to support you. Our commitment to listening to our clients and adapting to their needs is what makes VoiceOver PRO a revolutionary solution in the field of pathology reporting.
