Inject some oomph into your poolside ensembles, whether you're staying local or going somewhere sunkissed. This colour swimwear will score points when it comes to standout summer style
When you finally make it to a summer holiday destination, we imagine you'll want to express your excitement in a poolside ensemble that has energetic flair. These colourful swimwear pieces will brighten any beachy location, even if you're blighted by the threat of cloud and drizzle.
Make a splash in Paco Rabanne, Lido, Oséree and The Attico, burgeoning brands that have have all the outré oomph you need, dreaming up glittering bikinis and ombré one pieces.
Paco Rabanne
Paco Rabanne: a byword for discotheque dazzle. And now also a daring description for poolside pizzazz. The Parisian label - famed for its chainmail drenched silhouettes – has launched its debut holiday-inspired capsule collection, Ciao Paco, a Summer of Love-centric offering of tie dye t-shirts, bucket hats and striped biking shorts. For standout beach style, we recommend investing in the brand's retro-pattered bikini, imagined here in a sun drenched shade of yellow, and with zesty orange tie details.
Lido
Daria Stankiewicz's 2017-founded swimwear and activewear brand has an intrinsic beachside synergy. The Venice-based label is named after Lido, an island in its home city that was one of Europe's first sea bathing facitilies, and is a byword for a bustling beach resort. The brand's Heatwave collection is inspired by the tones and patterns common to resort locations, and hazy ombré fabrications evoke the patterns of sunbeds and beach umbrellas. There's a sporty ease to the collection’s colourful swimwear, with silhouettes that nod to retro aerobic pieces. Designs include swimming costumes with cut-out backs, and skimpy string bikinis, in splashes of sun yellow, sky blue, zesty lime and juicy orange.
Oséree
‘Who dares wins' is a phrase certainly true in the colourful swimwear stakes when it comes to Italian label Oséree. The brand – founded in 2015 by Jannine Vinci and Isabella Cavallin – takes its name from the French verb ‘oser', to dare, and is synonymous with sparkling swimsuits and bikinis, in panels of colour, from jewel tones to metallics. There's a Y2K leaning behind the label's latest Shine collection, which features draping bandana-style biknini tops and a bold ‘micro-kini' two piece, in glittering lilac, silver and baby blue.
