Face forward: Youth Corridor is a doctor-backed skincare range that raises the bar
When a plastic surgeon who rates amongst the top one per cent in the field launches his own skincare line, you can’t help but take note. Dr Gerald Imber is the brain behind Youth Corridor, an innovative skincare range that stems from his medical research in anti-aging skincare techniques, invasive or otherwise.
Recognised for achieving natural-looking results under the knife, through pioneering methods such as microsuction and the short-scar facelift, Imber’s overall skincare philosophy touts prevention, maintenance and correction, and is now available in bottled form.
Youth Corridor is a paraben and surfactant-free line that supports Imber’s idea of finding one’s own fountain of youth. The range utilises proprietary technology that delivers each product’s cocktail of power-packed ingredients without the aid of harsh and irritating emulsifiers. From its Dual Action Cleanser, which works without drying out the skin, to its Antioxidant C Boost Serum that reverses the effects of sun damage with potent doses of vitamins C, E, B3 and melatonin, each step in the eight-piece range enriches the skin to renew and rejuvenate it.
On staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital and an assistant clinical professor of plastic surgery at the Weill-Cornell Medical Center, Imber is familiar with the concerns of wrinkled, blemished or sun damaged skin that plague both men and women, and also with how to combat them. Even by our standards, this line doesn’t come cheap, but if Imber’s track record is anything to go on, eternal youth could be within reach (perhaps).
