Madrid's gastronomic scene is further boosted with the launch of Lobo 8, a neighbourhood restaurant which can be found inside Gran Hotel Inglés, which since 1853, had entertained a kaleidoscope of VIPs from Virginia Woolf to Henri Matisse.

Inspired by the tradition of the sherry tavern or 'tabanco', the restaurant, is named after the street it is located on, with Rockwell Group working a moodboard of dark sage, navy blue, oak, brass accents and splashes of burgundy, with added customised leather furniture and details like the framed wolf pictures.

The seasonal menu is filled with traditional dishes such as Iberian pork cheek served with beetroot and tamarind, alongside equally classic desserts like the fried milk with rosemary and lemon or the mouthatering french toast 'torrija' and honey topped with milk meringue ice cream.
