The Pure-Fi Express Plus brings an integrated alarm clock to the docking party, although you probably won't lose any sleep over this particular feature (pardon the pun).
Our only real disappointment is the remote control's lack of functionality.
You can do the basics, but there's no way to cycle through the menus on your iPod. This has to be done by manually prodding the device.
Being posiitioned on top of the dock also leaves you're iPod exposed to the elements and it doesn't feel very secure.
On the positive side, the Logitech sounds meaty and full-bodied. Bass has good weight but can be a bit prominent at times.
Gwen Stefani's What you Waiting For? sounds dynamic and punchy. There's a fine spread of detail too.
Despite some misgivings, the Pure-Fi Express Plus is still worth a punt. It's not quite up to the standards of our Award-winning Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere, but it's worth a listen.
