Both super-slim sets – they're just 6.4cm deep – are available in two special colours, pure white and the bizarrely named "richly nuanced Beige Grisé". Hard to tell from the picture whether that's beige or grey.
The two special Kuros come with a glossy black media receiver, which connects to the screen through a single cable. By eliminating multiple cables sticking out from the back of the plasma, these models are ideal for wall mounting.
"With these limited edition Kuro plasmas we want to offer customers the opportunity to customise their viewing environment even further by harmonising their TV with their interior design," says Jim Catcheside, product manager for the home business division at Pioneer UK.
"Like their black counterparts, the Kuro limited edition screens deliver flicker-free images in razor-sharp 1080p resolution," says Catcheside.
Both models include an enhanced Optimum Mode with an optical light sensor for automatic adjustment of picture settings according to the ambient light conditions in the room and content on the screen.
You also get both analogue and digital TV tuners, DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) connectivity so you can hook them up to your home network, a Home Media Gallery for viewing your own digital content, Kuro Link and four HDMI inputs.
A colour-matching swivel stand, wall bracket and stereo side speakers are available as options.
The KRP-500AW and KRP-500APG will be on sale from November for £2850 each.
