After some compact speakers? Tannoy has some new options, in the sleekly styled new Revolution Signature range, making its debut at the What Hi-fi? Sound and Vision Show this weekend.
The range - currently comprising two standmounts, two floorstanders and two centre-speaker options - aim to appeal to music and movie lovers after a big sound from slim speakers.
The range are based on 4- or 6-inch driver options - the difference being reflected in their product names - with each speaker using Tannoy's familiar Dual Concentric driver design, which puts its Wideband titanium tweeter at the heart of the bass cone to aid musical integration and accuracy.
Engineering aspects featured across the range include curved-wall cabinets, an audiophile crossover, silver-plated copper wiring and Tannoy's unique fifth speaker terminal - designed to electrically earth the driver chassis, reducing radio-frequency interference in your system.
The Revolution Signature range will be available in several real-wood veneers. The DC4 and DC6 standmounts will cost £599 and £799 respectively, while the DC4T and DC6T costing £799 and £999. Prices for the centre speakers to follow.
Going to the Show this afternoon? You'll find the Tannoys outside the Icon Distribution demo room - the St Julien Suite on the second floor.
