A few months ago, Telltale Games, the developer behind titles like The Wolf Among Us, announced that it was shutting down. Telltale was considered to be a successful studio, but mismanagement cost it everything. However, a new report by Polygon states that it's back from the dead!
Telltale Games' assets were purchased by LCG Entertainment, and the new company has some well-known industry veterans at the helm. You can read an excerpt from Polygon's report below.
It's great to see that Telltale is back. However, let's hope that it can deliver qualities experiences because the later seasons of popular titles like The Walking Dead suffered from performance and storytelling issues. The fact that they're only offering "freelance roles" raises some red flags, too. There's a lot of work to be done, that's for sure.
