PCBuilder and Partners Launch Mythic24 Series for 2024 and Beyond

Boot up your PCs, there's Valorant tournaments to be won

PCBuilder, alongside its brand partners AMD, MSI, Crucial, Redragon, Xbox Game Pass, and Windows 11, has announced the revival of the Mythic (Royale) series for the year 2024 and beyond.

The Mythic24 Season One is set to kick off with a Valorant series, boasting a hefty R20,000 cash prize pool, with an additional R10,000 cash unlockable via community goals.

Following the debut season of Mythic24, the streamer and content creator-focused #ACGLRivals will make its return, promising enhanced opportunities for both competitors and supporters, thanks to PCBuilder and its partners.

In a bid to diversify the gaming landscape, #Mythic24 Season Two will introduce a variety of mechanics to determine the title, starting with the #ACGLRivals event. Further details regarding the opportunities facilitated by PCBuilder and its partners will be unveiled as the action unfolds, with Season Two expected to commence in the third quarter of 2024, culminating in a special end-of-year event to usher in the holidays.

Since the inception of the Streamer Royale in 2019 and approximately eight seasons of Mythic Royale since 2020, ACGL and the PCBuilder brands have continuously pushed the envelope with the inclusion of community engagements and goals. This year, following a brief hiatus, the trend persists with an additional R2,000 cash allocated to the tournament prize pool for each achieved community goal, leading up to May 19, 2024.

For spectators and non-competing participants, opportunities to win abound. Product giveaways via the ACGL Giveaways system, social media, and stream giveaways present a chance to walk away with exciting tech prizes. In the 2022 Mythic Royale, over 70 products were distributed, with nearly one million Embers utilized to enter the giveaways.

Entry to these giveaways is open to all with an ACGL account and Embers, earned through engagement on the ACGL site. The more engagements completed, the greater the chances of winning.

Valorant teams of all skill levels are encouraged to register and compete in the Mythic Valorant Series, with registration currently open and the first round of matches slated for April 13. The tournament is set to culminate on May 19, with matches broadcast live on the ACGL Twitch channel.
