This was more than just a conference; it was an opportunity to reaffirm our purpose, align on strategic priorities, and accelerate our journey to deliver real impact through technology. With representation spanning South Africa, Seychelles, Mozambique, Tanzania, Ghana, Botswana, Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Mauritius, and Prague, the energy in the room reflected the strength of our diverse and dynamic leadership. A Vision for the Future Our Exco leaders set a clear direction: • Punki Modise distilled our Absa strategy, reinforcing that technology is not just an enabler—it is the core of how we deliver value. • Johnson Idesoh challenged us to lead with purpose and remain relentless in driving tangible outcomes. Today, we released our 2024 annual financial results, reflecting a material recovery in the second half of the year, culminating in earnings for the year being up 10%.
