You don’t have to start at the top if you want to disrupt an industry. Focus on a niche market where established players aren’t paying attention, innovate, improve, and eventually, you can scale and take on the bigger competition. We naturally tend to prefer what is familiar to us. When we have only experienced one way of life, one set of tastes and traditions, we lack the broader context needed for comparison. Our judgments and opinions are influenced by these limited experiences. We may consider something the best simply because it's all we've ever known. Exposure to different perspectives can expand our understanding and business insights. The more we travel, learn, and experience, the better equipped we are to see the world with greater clarity and depth.
