Not all heroes wear capes, and this week I witnessed that firsthand. A heartfelt thank-you to the incredible coaches and mentors! I want to take a moment to express my deep appreciation to the CHIETA Robotics Club for working hand-in-hand with AlgoAtWork to see through the incredible Robotics project that has impacted over 200 high school learners. It’s been an inspiring journey to witness the growth of these young students, who come from some of the most excluded communities in KZN, including Babanango, Umlazi, and Chesterville. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering dedication of the mentors Ngcebo Mdletshe and Francis Junior Djuimo who guided these learners every step of the way. Your support has not only equipped them with the robotic skills to solve real-world problems but also empowered them to overcome the challenges their communities face, This partnership has been nothing short of transformative, especially for students from communities like Babanango, Umlazi, and Chesterville. With CHIETA's support, these learners were given the tools and mentorship needed to develop real-world solutions to some of the challenges in their communities. Seeing these students grow, innovate, and create meaningful projects has been a proud and humbling experience. Thank you, CHIETA Robotics Club, for your commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders and problem-solvers. The impact you’ve made will undoubtedly shape the future of technology in these learners' lives. 🚀 I am beyond grateful to have been a part of this full-circle moment and deeply inspired by the positive impact you’ve all had on these learners' lives. Thank you to the mentors and robotics club for your hard work and commitment to shaping the next generation of innovators!💡✨ #ThankYou #MentorshipMatters #RoboticsEducation #EmpoweringYouth #Innovation #CoachingExcellence #AlgoAtWork #CHIETA #YouthDevelopment

What an inspiring journey this has been! I had the honor of participating in the CHIETA Robotics Club and AlgoAtWork graduation this week, celebrating a cohort of over 200 high school learners. These students have shown incredible resilience and determination, hailing from some of the most excluded communities in KZN: Babanango, Umlazi, and Chesterville. If you’re familiar with KZN, you know the many challenges these communities face: inclusivity, high crime rates, poverty, and teenage pregnancy. But through the support of AlgoAtWork, these young minds were equipped with robotic skills to tackle these very issues. The innovative projects they developed are a testament to the power of education and opportunity. 🌱 Seeing how these students transformed their ideas into solutions has been truly life-changing. It’s a clear reminder that when you plant a seed of knowledge in a young mind, even the most remote areas can yield ethical reasoning and universal problem-solving skills. 🌍 I’m beyond proud of what these learners have achieved and excited for the bright futures they have ahead. This full-circle moment is one I'll always cherish. 💡 #Robotics #EducationForAll #YouthEmpowerment #Innovation #AlgoAtWork #CHIETA #TechForGood

CTO @ AlgoAtWork | Embedded Systems and IoT Developer | Arm Ambassador | Robotics Coach | Arduino-Certified Instructor

#STM32Simplified — More often than not, we find ourselves in a complex situation when introducing #embeddedsystems and #IoT to learners. For the longest time, we have relied on the Arduino platform at AlgoAtWork as an introductory platform. As Arm #Ambassador, I’ve been considering how I can introduce #STM32 development to the same group of technologists who have benefited from introductory training/workshop/certifications from Arduino in a way they can easily understand. #STM—MCUs can be notoriously difficult to navigate. While there are numerous blogs and videos on how to get started with STM32, I want to share my personal perspective and approach to it. My goal is to guide the students I’ve worked with throughout their #Arduino journey into the ecosystem of STM32 development. Welcome to my series: #STM32Simplified — #ArmDeveloper #onArm
