Role Description This is a full-time position for a printer/copier service technician. As a field technician you will be responsible for providing technical support that ensures optimal performance of the multi-functional devices to our customer base. Qualifications Completed Classroom training at KMSA on current Bizhub Machines. Experience in providing printer and technical support. Knowledge of print devices and desktop computers. Ability to troubleshoot printer and desktop computer issues. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Customer-oriented approach and ability to work as a team. Minimum of High School diploma or GED required. Technical School training preferred. 2 – 4 years of experience related to technical/service of business equipment. Certified in A+ and N+ or equivalent training is preferred. Working knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft, Apple and common network problems. Must possess electrical/mechanical aptitude. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Position requires use of personal car. Must be able to travel locally to various customer sites on a daily basis. Ability to use appropriate technology for the position (i.e. handheld computer, phone, laptop) Must have excellent daily time management skills and be capable of prioritizing activities and schedule to obtain effective results. Ability to work independently at a customer site. Must work well with customers and always exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor.
