Investment success isn’t as clear-cut as just following the Fed https://lnkd.in/dXbF7Fgq It’s time to challenge some misguided assumptions about financial markets. One common belief is that South African markets are underperforming compared to those in the US. Another is the expectation that US markets will rise following interest rate cuts, which historical data doesn’t always support. Lastly, there’s the notion that the US dollar consistently strengthens during market sell-offs—a view that research has found to be inconsistent. While South Africa has faced economic challenges, Adriaan Pask, CIO at PSG Wealth believes the idea that local equity investments should be avoided in favour of rand-hedge or offshore stocks is flawed.

Do you suffer from money dysmorphia? https://lnkd.in/dxg3_743 If it seems like no matter how much money you make, you feel financially insecure, or no matter how stretched you are, you still spend impulsively, then you may be experiencing money dysmorphia. René Basson of Brand at Satrix , says, “This is an internet term, not a clinical one, but it describes a very real feeling of a rocky, warped relationship with one’s finances."
