He also serves as Technical Assistant to the Managing Director/CEO of TCN, providing strategic and technical support for key power transmission projects. South African and German Development Cooperation: enhancing green and sustainable energy for the City of Cape Town! 🇿🇦🇩🇪🇪🇺 Today our CEO, Stefan B. Wintels and the Deputy Mayor of Cape Town, Eddie Andrews signed a concessional loan agreement of 150 million EUR in the context of the Finance in Common 🌍. This new commitment of the German Financial Cooperation (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ)) will enhance the reliability and sustainability of the city’s electricity supply. This strategic partnership in the framework of the Just Energy Transition (#JETP) underscores a shared commitment to addressing energy challenges, social cohesion and job creation. The concessional loan will be used to finance critical infrastructure that improves electricity distribution, integrates renewable energy sources, and enhances grid stability. During the signing ceremony Stefan B.
