This year’s MineSafe conference focused on critical control management through digitisation. Harmony presented at the conference led by Gabriel Herholdt Head of OEI, Dr lwazi maepe Head of Health and Thabo Gazi Head of Safety. These leaders emphasised the safety and wellness journey we have been on. The key aspect that was highlighted through this presentation was the integrated approach toward continuous improvement. Each area is a golden control in itself, with implementation plans, monitoring controls and multi-tier verification. Integration is critical to ensuring that we achieve our objectives. Harmony is proud to have won the Water Conservation gold award at the 2024 Eco-Logic Awards on 30 October 2024. “We have worked with our host communities to refurbish three dedicated wastewater treatment plants.
