Today a new chapter begins for our group of creative companies with the launch of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗽&𝗨𝗽 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽. We're looking forward to this exciting journey, and to seeing the impact The Up&Up Group has, not just on and in the industry, but also within our incredibly country. Onwards, Upwards (or rather, 𝗨𝗽&𝗨𝗽). 

Ever wonder how Simba got KFC’s secret recipe?   For this 360°campaign, we initially thought that we had to tell a single story of how this flavourful collaboration came to be. But, the reality was that we don't actually know how it happened. Conceptually, that was ideal: not knowing allowed us to open up all sorts of storytelling avenues, like potentially theorising on the many possibilities with all of Mzansi. It's the perfect storm – one that roarrrs with finger lickin’ good flavour. 

South Africans don’t just overcome challenges; we stare them down 🔥 The new spring meal from Nando’s is a flame-Grilled Shisinyama-Flavoured Chicken Sosatie on a bed of delicious coleslaw and a toasted flatbread for only R55. The thing is before you can fold the flatbread to devour it, you need to pull out the stick. So, instead of doing a boring “this is how you take the stick out” ad, we decided to demonstrate this in a Nando’s way. We positioned the new meal as the reward for the perseverance it takes to stick it out no matter what crosses our path, even when it’s 5 gents on the back of a bakkie staring into your soul. And now with the Nando’s Cabo Sosatie Flatbread South Ah has an unofficial official meal to reward themselves with after a tough day of sticking it out.
