Job Advertisement: Experienced Fundraising Officer Location: Middelburg, South Africa Position Type: Full-Time Middelburg Care Village, a non-profit children’s home providing care to 108 children, is seeking a Fundraising Officer with a passion for making a difference. If you have a knack for writing compelling fundraising proposals, a solid understanding of charity operations, and experience driving fundraising initiatives, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Develop, write, and submit persuasive fundraising proposals and grant applications. Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors, and partners. Manage relationships with donors, ensuring regular communication and updates on funded projects. Organize and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns. Maintain a database of donors and track fundraising activities. Collaborate with the marketing team on fundraising strategies and promotions. Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in a similar fundraising or non-profit role. Strong understanding of the non-profit and charity sector. Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and partners. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
