Moneytime
It was a chilly morning en route to the office, the traffic came to a dead still, and I could see the barricades of burning tires in the distance and Police trying to clear the roads. Onlookers from the local squatter camp looked at the success of the attention and frustration they managed to create with what was on hand. As I drove past I saw this stone (the size of a man's fist) in the middle of the road- I thought of removing it- loading it in my car and taking it to the office. Still on my desk today. My overthinking side – let me believe this was someone's best way of throwing a stone into the economic river, flowing past them every day and seeing the ripple effect. As a person, I'm convicted to be an agent of change. I love cause and effect and so does our company- MyLife. We have to help people live a better life in SA. I’d like to tell you about one of our most pristine tools of choice and the market we target. Our audience is 10-14 years old and there are 5.4 million of this wonderful age group in SA. We teach them with one of the world's most renowned products available on the topic of Money Literacy- MoneyTime. We did the Soweto Financial Literacy Competition, Boys and Girls Club, and loads of grade 7's and witnessed the absolute learning energy and money miracles in the lives of these youngsters.
