In commemoration of Women’s Day in South Africa, the PnS Group embarked on a 3-day initiative to address period poverty and its negative impact on the continuity of education for many young women. Recognising the challenges faced by countless girls due to a lack of feminine hygiene products, we committed to taking action to make tangible difference. Through the distribution of over 1,200 packs of sanitary towels and essential hygiene products, we contributed to enabling 700+ young women to manage their feminine health with dignity and confidence. The partnership and generous donations from Kimberly-Clark and Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd Foods, combined with contributions from many members of #TeamPnS enabled us to package over 700 dignity kits. These kits were distributed across five schools in partnership with Kukhula Global Projects, The Potato Foundation and More Than A Teacher. More than 20 volunteers from the group invested a combined 240 hours into this critical initiative. Beyond product distribution,  our teams engaged in conversations which prioritised education, self-confidence, and empowerment. This holistic approach aligns with the spirit of Women’s Day, acknowledging the critical role that women and girls play in our society and emphasizing the importance of supporting them in reaching their full potential.
