PG Bison recently welcomed key customers and stakeholders to experience our new medium-density fibreboard (MDF) line in Mkhondo. This launch represents a significant milestone for both our company and the South African manufacturing industry, and the site visit was an excellent way to connect with our valued customers, partners, and suppliers. This project was among the investment commitments announced at President Ramaphosa's 2020 South African Investment Conference, and its launch highlights the success of public-private partnerships that drive localisation and job creation. The PG Bison 1.618 Education Initiative celebrates the top emerging #Architecture and #InteriorDesign talents South Africa has to offer and gives them an opportunity to get their names into the industry as they embark on their careers. Congratulations to Cara Grace Turner, who was announced today as our 2024 winner at a special awards ceremony  in the economic heartland of South Africa, Johannesburg. Cara is an interior design student at Design Time School of Interior Design and wins R75 000, with her lecturer, Anel Joubert taking away R50 000. In second place, we have Grace Taylor, also from Design Time School of Interior Design (winning R37 500), and Isabella Vernes from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in third place (winning R15 000). We visited Decorex Johannesburg and it was a great opportunity to see PG Bison boards on display in a variety of different applications. Bellissimo LD had two display kitchens featuring Caraz and Naran respectively, while Dezign A Door used Congo and Luca Polenta in their drawer carcasses.
