We are delighted to announce the appointment of Shirley April as the new General Manager of Protea Hotel by Marriott Landmark Polokwane. With over 15 years of exceptional hospitality experience, Shirley began her journey at Protea Hotel Tyger Valley in Cape Town. She has excelled in various roles, including Assistant Front Office Manager, Rooms Division Manager, and Acting General Manager, gaining valuable expertise across renowned properties, including the Capital Hotel Group. Most recently, Shirley served as Rooms Division Manager at Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! Melrose Arch. As a graduate of the Khulanathi Leadership Program at Stellenbosch Business School, she brings a wealth of operational expertise and leadership acumen to her new role.
