Join us on a mission this World Kindness Day! Sunbake invites you to join us in spreading a wave of compassion across South Africa. Together with Lasiwe, Keegan Gordon, Lerato Kganyago, and Candice Modiselle, we’re delivering fresh bread—and even fresher hope—to communities in Gauteng. But we can’t do it alone! Let’s make kindness contagious! Buy a loaf of bread and give it to someone in need or find your own way to make someone’s day a little brighter. Every small act counts, and together we can create a kinder world, one loaf at a time.

Empowering our women is at the heart of our commitment to growth, diversity, and inclusion. Recently, 30 talented women from across our business embarked on the prestigious Dale Carnegie Course, a globally renowned programme dedicated to boosting self-confidence; managing effective relationships; strengthening trust and inspiring others. Through this course, part of our Women Empowerment Series, our delegates strengthened their confidence, learned how to foster trust, and gained tools to inspire others—all in an environment built on mutual support. We’re proud to be growing what truly matters: empowered women who uplift, connect, and lead with purpose. #RCLFOODS #DiversityAndInclusion #DaleCarnegie

Too many men feel they need to carry their struggles alone, and that being vulnerable is a weakness. #MENtalHealthAwarenessMonth reminds us that asking for help, is a sign of strength. Sharing our experiences can pave the way for others to feel brave enough to do the same. Together, we can create a culture where mental well-being is prioritised and celebrated. At RCL FOODS, we believe in Growing What Matters—not just our physical health, but our mental health too. Let’s support one another, check in with our friends, and break down the barriers that keep us silent. Your feelings matter!

OUMA Rusks have become a beloved favourite for many South Africans, evoking memories of home and tradition. Did you know they’ve been a cherished brand for over 85 years? It all began in Molteno, where Ouma Greyvensteyn turned a family recipe into a symbol of comfort during the Great Depression. What started as a small baking venture for missionary work quickly grew into a household name, with rusks now enjoyed nationwide. Today, OUMA continues to create jobs in the Molteno community, with a R50 million investment in a new bakery in 2017, while honouring its rich heritage.
