While some companies welcome this shift, others—despite valuing diversity—are feeling pressure to downplay its importance due to political shifts. 🔹 The Backlash Against Remote Work (#WFH) & Push for Office Return (#RTO) There is a major to drive to get staff back in office. Whilst this may be beneficial for junior talent from a learning and social perspective, senior talent are less willing to go back to the way things were. Jack Hammer’s recruitment insights confirm this trend: top talent are making career decisions based on flexibility, with many opting to leave rigid environments for more adaptable work models. 🔹 Tech, AI, and the Rise of White-Collar Job Disruption While a white-collar recession is unfolding in the US, the ripple effects are yet to fully reach our markets in Africa. However, as AI and automation enhance productivity, fewer traditional roles will be required—a shift businesses and individuals must prepare for and adapt to.
