The South African Table Grape Industry (SATI) was established in 2004 as the industry association of table grape producers in South Africa. SATI is dedicated to maintaining South Africa’s position as the preferred country for taste around the world; as well as striving towards an industry that remains progressive, equitable and sustainable.

    SATI 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆! 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄? The South African table grape industry has a long heritage dating back to the 1600s, when Dutch settlers first introduced grape cultivation. Initially focused on wine grapes, table grape farming began in the early 1900s. Over time, innovation in farming practices, irrigation, and export logistics helped transform 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.
