Thank you Variety for breaking the news on our latest Nigerian original drama series, Princess on a Hill, announced at MIPAfrica. The series stars Onyinye Odokoro (Slum King) as Zara, a young woman who wins the Lawson Group’s Leading Ladies reality show and finds herself tasked with saving the company. AMVCA winner Bimbo Manuel, portrays the antagonistic CEO Moyosore Lawson. Princess on a Hill is co-created by Abiola Sobo and Tolu Ajayi. Racy #ShowmaxOriginal comedy series #Koek was the big winner at the Silwerskerm Film & TV Awards; the cast scooped Best Actress (Cindy Swanepoel), Best Actor (Jacques Bessenger), Best Female Supporting Actress (Sandra Prinsloo) and Best Male Supporting Actor (Dawid Minnaar).
