Sibanye-Stillwater is a multinational mining and metals processing Group with a diverse portfolio of projects and investments across five continents. The Group is also one of the foremost global recyclers of PGM autocatalysts and has interests in leading mine tailings retreatment operations. Sibanye-Stillwater has established itself as one of the world’s largest primary producers of platinum, palladium, and rhodium and is a top tier gold producer. It also produces and refines iridium and ruthenium, nickel, chrome, copper and cobalt. The Group has recently begun to build and diversify its asset portfolio into battery metals mining and processing and is increasing its presence in the circular economy by growing and diversifying its recycling and tailings reprocessing operations globally.

Creating Solar Energy Entrepreneurship in local communities Sibanye-Stillwater in partnership with Green Academy, Term Group, Phakamani impact Capital and Decentral Energy has awarded certificates to 24 local SMME’s who successfully completed the Sibanye-Stillwater Enterprise Development Programme. The programme focused on solar installation for residential areas and is aimed at enabling local SMMEs to participate in opportunities in the solar energy industry. The six months programme was open to qualified electricians from our surrounding local communities looking to expand their businesses into the solar industry. #The Power of Shared Value

Joining forces for safer roads Today, Sibanye-Stillwater alongside the SAPS, Public Safety, and Transnet, organised a road and railway safety campaign in Rustenburg near Shingwedzi junction and Photsaneng railway crossing.
