SITA is proud to shine the spotlight on Ms. Malebo Mokwatlo, who is the Acting Executive for Service Management. With over 15 years of experience at SITA, she has played a vital role in ICT service delivery, previously serving as a Network Engineer, Manager for the NOC, and most recently as Senior Manager: Network Operations Centre & Network Management Systems. In her new role, Ms. Mokwatlo oversees End User Computing, PSS and Service Delivery Management, while leading the implementation of the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to enhance threat response, compliance and resilience. Her leadership is key to optimising IT service operations, strengthening incident management and driving service excellence in government ICT. Under her leadership, SITA remains committed to delivering high-quality, secure and reliable IT services that support the government’s digital transformation agenda. SITA recognises wellness in the workplace. In recognition of the challenges employees face, the SITA Wellness team put together a morning programme for employees to participate in. The activities included an early morning 5km walk, open air aerobics and sprints to detox from corporate demands for a minute. The programme was encased in wellness information stalls for staff to engage and seek treatments, or talk through available information. The programme recognises that a company culture built around being good to people and their well-being is good for productivity and business stability. #SITA #WellnessDay

Cabinet Announces SITA Interim Board Appointments The Cabinet’s 27 February 2025 announcement of an interim board of directors marks a pivotal moment for SITA as we continue to strengthen governance and drive digital transformation in public sector ICT services. SITA welcomes the leadership of Ms. Sedzani Mudau (Chairperson), Mr. Willie Vukela (DPSA), Mr. Willie Mathebula (National Treasury), Adv. Johannes Collen Weapond, and Mr. Omega Shelembe (Department of Communication and Digital Technologies) as non-executive directors. Joining them as executive directors are Mr. Gopal Reddy (Acting Managing Director) and Mr. Molatlhegi Kgauwe (Chief Financial Officer). With a wealth of expertise from ICT and other key sectors, the interim board will provide strategic direction to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
