Our goal is to advance a well-governed, peaceful, economically sustainable and globally engaged Africa. For nearly a century, SAIIA has been a trusted source of knowledge and analysis, empowering decision-makers at the local, regional and global levels. We drive impact through the following activities: - Amplifying African knowledge: We generate high-quality, peer-reviewed research and analysis, ensuring that African perspectives and solutions shape continental and global debates. Our work elevates crucial African priorities in key international forums like the G20, BRICS, and the WTO. - Multi-stakeholder engagement: By actively engaging with governments, civil society, the business community, media and academia, we explore impactful solutions and shape public debate. We regularly host high-profile speakers and diverse audiences for impactful dialogues on critical global issues. - Youth empowerment: The longstanding Youth@SAIIA programme equips young people with the skills and knowledge to become active participants in international relations and public policy. We are shaping a future in which young people are empowered to drive positive change. - Mentorship and training: Our annual scholarship programme, currently in its 26th year, cultivates the next generation of scholars and think tankers by provides hands-on research training and publishing opportunities.
