The #2024NutritionCongress is currently taking place in the coastal city of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The theme focuses on 'Spearheading Nutrition for All.' SAMRC is excited to be part of it! Our team of experts from #SAFOODS have joined. Their work and contribution to the science of food has recently started up an online mobile application called 'Diasa'. DIASA modernises the dietary intake assessment for a variety of reasons but mostly for research. Electronic capturing of dietary intake by means of a multi-pass 24hour recall. It uses the South African Food Quantities Database, that provides information for over 1700 food items. To find out more about this product, please click here: https://diasa.samrc.ac.za/
