Soventix GmbH has started construction of the Kalsow solar park in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. We are building another photovoltaic park for our customer PARQ energy GmbH, this time with a capacity of almost 26 MWp. Following the Kleibrok project (39 MWp), this is already the second joint construction project between the two companies. The project development was carried out by Parq. Soventix is responsible for all EPC works in the project. Soventix GmbH is very happy to announce that we realized the grid connection for the National Cement #Nakuru project in Kenya. We would like to thank our key customer CrossBoundary Energy for their confidence in our EPC quality. The Nakuru project has a size of 2.24 MWp and was built with Single Axis Tracking technology. Included is a 1.2KM 33kV Overhead Line that links the PV Plant to the Grid Connection point. Key components from Jinko (Modules), Sungrow (inverters), PowerWay (Tracker Structure), Proconics (transformer) and Meteocontrol (Control and Monitoring). In addition to Kenya, Soventix GmbH is currently building for CrossBoundary Energy in Somalia, Madagascar, and Nigeria. Soventix SA (Pty) Ltd successfully commissioned a photovoltaic (PV) carport installation for Dulux Paints in Kwa-Zulu Natal on the 6th of June 2024. The installation boasts a size of 449kWp and features modules from JA Solar (590 watts) and Canadian Solar (590 watts). The system is powered by HUAWEI SUN2000-100 KTL string inverters. It is projected to generate 613,923 kWh of electricity annually, resulting in CO2 savings of 127 tonnes per year. The project is split into a 171kWp carport section for the parking area, and a 278kWp raised carport-type section to be utilized as Dulux’s Emergency Evacuation point. This project signifies a positive growth in the implementation of renewable energy projects for both Dulux and the South African market. The importance of energy security cannot be underestimated – Soventix’s commitment to the Green Energy Revolution will not cease.
