More than 100 deciduous fruit stakeholders gathered at the TCF - Tissue Culture Facility, Bernheim, outside Paarl yesterday. An Information Day was held with the aim to educate and inform stakeholders about the opportunities presented by new plant improvement technologies and the value of the quarantine facility at TCF. Industry experts Rachel Kriel, Prof Lizel Mostert, Frederick Voigt, Dr Nigel Cook and Kootjie Viljoen, shared their experiences with tissue culture. Caption: 1.
