That's how we came up with the idea of joining forces to make this sector more environmentally friendly. I became interested in down in the textile industry, and Tae, who has always been fascinated by finding solutions for customers, saw a real need for recycled down products. It was a no-brainer for us to create a recycled down company that actively participates in the circular economy with a positive impact on the environment. ♻️ That's why in 2015 we joined forces to create Re:Down® with the goal to recycling down & feathers from post consumer goods and making of most of existing resources instead of using new ones! 🔗 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙨: •Finding our right place in the company, according to our skills but also our wishes. •Genuine emotional support during the trials and tribulations of the entrepreneurial journey. •The desire to pull each other up. •A high level of trust in each other's care and performance of tasks. •And of course, doing business with friends means sharing the same set of values, which was very important for the development of Re:Down ®. How can design change the way people view disabilities? ✍ If you’ve seen our latest post, you know we hosted a special event at Salomon HQ last week: the Adaptive Open Forum. This event was all about innovation, circularity, and inclusivity. It showcased the explorative design work led by Patrick LEICK, Sylvain Merlin, and their teams to make our sports more accessible and alter perceptions of disabilities by playing with design and showing their beauty. This was achieved through a huge team effort along with our employees, Salomon’s Parateam (🙌 Sarah Legrand, Jerome BERNARD, Boris Ghirardi, Fayçal Toumi, julien veysseyre, Fabrice Baudet, Luca Liens) and partners such as Hopper, Airbus, and 3D CONCEPTS SERVICES!
