Our weapon of choice is Xero Accounting, which we combine with a variety of apps that integrate directly with the accounting system. All of our clients use Receipt Bank to automate the capturing of invoices and receipts, which are then published straight into Xero as creditors awaiting payment. Using great tech tools we are able to spend more time with our clients, helping them understand what the numbers mean. We've got your back when it comes to accounting, tax and payroll. We are thrilled to announce that we have reached Xero Platinum status! It took us just over six years to reach this epic milestone. Our business is built on three core values that we’ve been proudly displaying on our website since day 1: We Bring It. Every Day. We’ve Got Your Back. We Do The Right Thing. It would be amiss to make it seem that we have it all figured out – we’re still learning every day. We do, however, believe that the recipe for success starts with a solid foundation of good old-fashioned values, and then pitching up each and every day and trying your darndest to live up to them. Perhaps not a “sexy” soundbite and certainly not a quick fix, but it’s been working for us just fine. Nothing happens in isolation, so it’s important to acknowledge the incredible team of committed Wingmen and Wingwomen that embraced our values and has been true to them beyond our wildest expectations. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we would add that it takes an army to build a thriving business. We are immensely grateful for the people who call Wingman Accounting home. Having a great team is, however, not the entire story. Our clients are critical pieces of the puzzle as well. In fact, our purpose statement is that we exist to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses. In those heady, early start-up days we took the hard decision to be picky about the clients that we take on. If you don’t have many clients, being discerning can be tough. We did it anyway, and with the benefit of hindsight this was undoubtedly the right approach. Many of our clients have been sticking with us year in and year out, some of them since year 1. They are also our number one source of new leads by a country mile. People tend to do business with people they like, and we are proud of the myriad of businesses that has allowed us to be a part of their own success stories. In turn, they allow us to create our own.
