📢 Women’s Legal Centre Heads to the Supreme Court of Appeal. On Wednesday, 13 November 2024, our legal team, Amanda Stemele and Attorney Khuliso Managa, will represent us at the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) in Bloemfontein. The State has appealed our 2022 victory, where we defended two women, TT and BM, whose rights to privacy were violated and thier decisions to opt for adoption unlawfully interfered with by the Department of Social Development. Swipe through to learn more about the case and why we’re at the SCA. Follow us for updates as we continue advocating for women’s autonomy and their children’s rights. #WomensRights #SupremeCourtOfAppeal #AdoptionRights #HumanRights #ReproductiveJustice #WomensLegalCentre
