#Nigeria is a market that many companies are fascinated and somewhat daunted by. A country with a population of over 200million and its own dynamic tech ecosystem deserves to be approached with respect, curiosity and a spirit of collaboration. This week Enterprise Ireland supported five client companies doing just that. Their time in Lagos was spent: 🌟 Attending Nigeria Fintech Week 💫 Participating in an Enterprise Ireland-hosted Fintech Networking Reception bringing together business leaders in the financial services and tech space 🤝 Engaging in B2B meetings with potential partners, customers and other stakeholders While some of these clients were building on an existing successful track record in Nigeria, others were exploring new horizons. As one participant, Gavin O'Sullivan, summed it up 'I’m buzzing with excitement about the opportunities in this vibrant market!' In the coming days we'll share more about the week's insights and activities. For now thank you to the Irish companies that matched the legendary Lagos energy with their own. Much appreciation to our Nigerian network for being open to thinking together about how Irish innovation and tech excellence could play a role in Nigeria's future growth. And finally many thanks to our pathfinders Thessa Bagu and Ayoade Salawu for their invaluable and unstinting support.
